The SCOP/SCOP-e browser organizes proteins into groups that have structural similarities that may share evolutionary origins.
The SCOP database, was created by manual inspection. Abetted by a battery of automated methods, this database aims to provide a detailed and comprehensive description of structural and evolutionary relationships between all proteins whose structure is known. The legacy SCOP classifications (version 1.75) was last released in 2009.
The SCOP-e project uses a combination of manual curation and rigorously validated automated methods to classify PDB structures, especially the newer structures. It provides access to data found in all releases of the SCOP and Astral databases that feature stable identifiers.
Here you can browse through PDB structures by their SCOP/SCOP-e classification.
